Arria: Chavez acts like a fascist

Diego Arria, in another short video statement for Gladys Bensimon from the HBR Production Company, unveils that Hugo Chavez’s political ideas for Venezuela are not to install a Bolivarian socialist republic but to organize a sort of fascist state, comparable to those run by Kim Jong Il from North Korea or in the past by Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Mr. Arria points out to Chavez’s establishment of a personal cult of his leadership, which is characteristic for typical totalitarian regimes, and to some of the methods Chavez uses to run the country: for example the ransacking of property of governmental critics, expropriations, public violence and so on.
